Summer arrived, but surprisingly viewers didn’t leave our Facebook page in July.
Top of the list came Hugh Dickenson’s report on the Annals of Botany lecture by Daphne Goring, with 6008 views. The post itself is filled with useful links various papers pollination problems.
Next up came a post from Tree Physiology with 5549 view on Facebook. It seems some trees may have learned to cope with drought by coping with embolisms instead of trying to fight them.
Finally rounding out the top 3 Nigel Chaffey comments on the episode of The Infinite Monkey Cage that asks What’s the Point of Plants?. That got 5327 views on Facebook, but if you go to the original post you can have a listen to it too.
Tomorrow we’ll look at August and I’ll finally concede that everyone must be checking the AoB sites while on holiday – and therefore be much harder working than me.
